Mentor Rush
Mentor Rush is a monthly event designed to recruit passionate mentors for the upcoming year. Through a fun, fast-paced “speed dating” style, we introduce potential mentors to the Y-KNOT way our unique approach to guiding and inspiring young people. During each session, we share what it takes to be a Y-KNOT mentor, outline expectations, and discuss the needs of our program.
Why is this important? Because young people need mentors now more than ever. Mentorship provides guidance, encouragement, and real-world wisdom that helps youth navigate challenges, build confidence, and discover their potential. A mentor can open doors to opportunities, teach life skills, and offer the kind of support that shapes futures.
